Hell-X is officially over, so it’s time to rest up and get ready for Dirt Derby! Dirt Derby will be starting up mid-September 2017, exact date TBD. As things get closer we’ll update with more official details. If you want to get hyped during the off season check us out on Facebook for pictures and videos of past seasons.
Hell X
Hey folks. Dirt Derby is now just a fond memory of 2016, but never fear, Hell X is returning June 6, 2017! We’re running 4 weeks this year and using the same format as previous seasons. First race at 6:30 for roughly 40 minutes and second race at 7:30 until dark. $15 for one or $20 for both and we guarantee you’ll leave with tired legs and a smile.
Rainout 11/22/16
Hey Everybody. All the weather people seem quite convinced it’ll be storming during race time, so Dirt Derby is cancelled for tonight (11/22/16).
We’ll still give it one more shot and schedule the season finale for next week, 11/29/16. Finale will still be ladies nights, so all ladies race for free.
Also, don’t forget about our end of the year party at Austin Tri Cyclist on Tuesday, December 6th. We’ll be hanging out with some snacks and good drinks as well as handing out the series awards for the open race.
3 weeks down, 5 to go!
We just wrapped up week three and a results are available for you viewing pleasure. We’ve also got the Austin Tri Cyclist series open standings updated as well. IMPORTANT DATES
Tuesday, November 1st will be the Halloween Party so be sure to wear your costume to the race! There will be a costume contest at 7:30 in between the Intermediate MTB race and the Tom Mahnke Realtor Intermediate CX race.
Tuesday, December 6th will be our end of season party at Austin Tri Cyclist on Barton Springs road. Drinks and snacks will start at 6 and we’ll be giving out series awards and prizes around 8. Stay tuned for details. In case you forgot, the series awards include an $800 pot split up evenly between men & women plus goods from Kogel Bearings for the men’s CX winner & second place finisher.
9/27/16 Rescheduled to 11/15/16
Hey Folks. The track has received quite a bit of rain thanks to the recent storms, so this weeks race (9/27/16) has been postponed until November 15, 2016. enjoy your week off and we’ll see you back at the track on October 4th.

The day is finally here! Dirt Derby 2016 starts this afternoon.
6:15 – Kid’s Race
6:30 – Beginner CX & MTB
7:00 – Intermediate MTB
7:30 Tom Mahnke, Realtor Intermediate CX
8:00 Austin Tri Cyclist Open Race – CX & MTB
First race of the night is $10 and subsequent races in the same night are only $5 more. Registration closes 10 minutes before start time & all you need to race is a bike, a helmet, and a bit of cash.

One Week until Dirt Derby 2016!
Only one more week until Dirt Derby 2016 is officially underway! Tuesday, September 20th is the big day and it all starts with the kid’s race at 6:15.

End Of Season Party
The season has officially wrapped up so it’s time to reminisce about the fun we’ve had. Tuesday, December 15th we’ll be having our end of the season party at Austin Tri Cyclist. Beer will be provided and we’ll be giving out a couple end of season awards for the top racers.
Also, ATC will be running a 15% off special during the party for gear in the shop. If you still have some Christmas shopping to wrap up or just need some more socks, now is the time to take care of it.

Dirt Derby on December 1st is cancelled due to the weekend’s rain, but we will be back next week! A few days of sunshine and the 8th should be perfect for racing. Enjoy the week off and we’ll see you on December 8th.
